The School of the Science of Acting is fortunate to have a number of supporters and patrons.
Eddie Marsan studied the Science of Acting at the School with Sam Kogan. He is regarded as one of the UK’s finest character actors. Eddie has starred in many West End theatre productions, award winning television dramas and numerous blockbuster Hollywood films – working with the worlds leading directors.
Wife of the former Lord Chancellor, Lady Irvine has a very active role within the Visual Arts, from being a Trustee of the Wallace Collection (Home of one of Europe’s finest private collections of Art) and Somerset House through to being a Member of the Visual Arts Advisory Committee to the British Council and an Active Supporter of “Paintings in Hospitals”.
Michael Dower lives in Cheltenham and is a Visiting Professor at the University of Gloucestershire. He was previously Director of the Peak National Park and Director General of the Countryside Commission. Before that he spent 18 years on the staff of Dartington, the education and arts centre in Devon.
